Mother is a word which fills everyone with emotions. A Mother is certainly the most important human being in everyone’s life. Mother’s love for her child certainly cannot be compared with anything. Her level of forgiveness is unmatchable. She sacrifices her happiness for her child. This production is a tribute to every mother and every life that nurtured another life.

Sarvani Yadavalli - a marvelous world-famous dancer and a great exponent and interpreter of all aspects of the classical Kuchipudi style of dancing came up with a production AMMA - a tender and touching portrayal of various aspects of Motherhood and the sacrifices Mothers make for their beloved children.

Sarvani premiered this composition at the function of the charitable LONDON MISCELLANY FOUNDATION which gives donations to the Queen Camilla BOOK CLUB among other activities to support educational matters for children.

It was a wonderful and powerful performance of a true professional and done to a truly high standard. The audience was not familiar with the Kuchipudi style of dancing but everyone loved it very much and told me how much they enjoyed it and that they could follow the story and the message. Thanks to the performer's fantastic facial expressions.
